March 1st: Long Covid Awareness Month Begins 🗓️
- 4th annual International Long Covid Awareness Day & Month.
- 2026 Focus: The Implications of COVID/Long Covid on the Cardiovascular System.
- Tagline: Long Covid: Every heartbeat counts.
- Main Hashtag: #LongCovidHeartbeats.
March 2nd: COVID Memorial Day (U.S.) 🗓️
March 2nd: Lit Up For Long Covid Begins 🚨
- There will be at least 400+ illuminations worldwide lighting up to support Long Covid.
March 4th: MaskTogetherAmerica Long Covid Defense Series 💻
- Starting at 4:30pm PST and run until 9pm PST discussion will feature four people advocating for Long Covid, including the International Long Covid Awareness Day/Month Founder.
March 8th: COVID-19 Day of Reflection (U.K.) 🗓️
March 9th: International Long Covid Kids Day 🗓️
March 9th: Take Action Against Long Covid Demonstration (Annapolis, MD) 😷
- This Take Action Against Long Covid Demonstration at the Maryland State Capitol of Annapolis, USA, will take place from from 11am-1pm EST.
-All are welcome. Masks are mandatory.
March 11th: Take Action Against Long Covid Demonstration (Washington, USA) 😷
- This Take Action Against Long Covid Demonstration will take place at the Washington State Capitol in Olympia, USA, from 11am-1pm PST, with the die-in part occuring 11:15am-11:21am.
- All are welcome. Masks are mandatory.
March 13th: Long COVID : 6 years of Inaction (Paris, France) 😷
- The Long COVID : 6 years of Inaction Demonstration in Paris, France at the Hotel Dieu will begin at 2pm local time on March 13th. End time to be announced.
March 13th: Community Led Long COVID Definition 🗓️
- The Community Led Long COVID Definition is planned to be finalized and released on March 13th. The date is tentative and it may be changed to later in the month.
- The community can provide feedback on what they would like to see changed or added on this form until the clock strikes midnight going into March 6th. Get your comments in now and have your voice heard!
March 14th: International Long Covid Memorial Day 🗓️
March 15th: International Long Covid Awareness Day 🗓️
March 15th: Long Covid Twitter/X 24 hour Marathon Space 💻
- Starts at 12pm CST March 15th and ends 12pm CST on March 16th.
- It will feature numerous people, including Morgan Fairchild, advocating and fighting for those with Long Covid.
March 15th: Calgary, Canada Long Covid Demonstration @ RiverWalk Plaza 😷
- Demonstration will run 11am-12:30pm MT.
- Featuring Dr. Malgorzata (Gosia) Gasperowicz, Dr. David Keegan, Rashmin Hira, PhD candidate, and Karen Lord, reading a story from Olive B.
March 15th: Montreal, Canada Long Covid Demonstration @ Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium 😷
- Demonstration will run 1-3pm EST.
- Featuring Dr. Thao Huynh, Dr. Caroline Grégoire, Clara, daughter of a person living with Long Covid, Gabriel Arteau, and Annie-Claude Trottier
March 15th: Toronto, Canada Long Covid Demonstration @ Queen's Park 😷
- Demonstration will run 2-3pm EST.
- Featuring Dr. Angela Cheung, Mary Jo Nabuurs, and Rebecca Lewkowicz.
March 15th: Vancouver, Canada Long Covid Demonstration @ Vancouver Art Gallery 😷
- Demonstration will run 11:30am-1pm PST.
- Featuring Dr. Jane McKary, Dr. Susan Kuo, Leo Ruhl, and Kaylie Jamieson.
March 15th: Long COVID Aragón Demonstration (Zaragoza, Spain) 😷
- The Long Covid Aragón Demonstration in Zaragoza, Spain on 3/15 will begin at 12pm. End time to be announced.
March 15th: Long Covid Stand Up Inverclyde 🧍🏻♂️🧍🏻♀️
- At 2pm local time all over the world we encourage people to stand up in person in Scotland (exact location to be provided) or upload themselves standing up for Long Covid on social media platforms.
- #LongCovidStandUp
March 15th-21st: International Long Covid Awareness Week 🗓️
- It will feature social media actions March 15th-21st.
- There will also be a fact of the day topic each day.
March 31st: End of Long Covid Awareness Month 🗓️
- But the fight for Long Covid awareness and solutions continues every day.
